In the field of vehicle safety, a crash wall integrated with Crash Wall Load cells is an essential equipment. Each Crash Wall Load cell measures forces in X, Y, Z directions during vehicle impact test.
Two types of crash wall load cells are available: standard and lightweight versions. The standard version has a sensor capacity of 300 or 400kN, for digital or analog output versions respectively. These can be used to configure a Full Width Rigid Barrier. The lightweight version has a capacity of 50kN and can be integrated into a Mobile Progressive Deformable Barrier.
Crash Dummies are vital in the field of automotive passive safety. There are many loadcells and displacement sensors in the dummy. Sunrise Instruments (SRI) has more than 30 years of experience in designing and manufacturing dummy sensors. SRI’s dummy sensors are used in most crash labs around the word. These sensors help people accurately measure the force, moment and displacement of crash dummy body parts during crash testing.
The 6 axis wheel sensor measures the wheel forces and moments. The six components of the total wheel load are structurally decoupled to provide independent outputs, so post-data correction becomes unnecessary. The low voltage output is amplified by an on-board amplifier module (41130-EB-00). The amplified signal is then wired to a slip ring (41150-RING-00), such that the data can be transmitted to the data acquisition system (iDAS). The sensor fits 13” to 21” wheel.
The loadcell is completely sealed to provide excellent environment protection, and could be used for on-road measurement on a rainy day.
Engineering service is provided for the wheel modification and the design of relevant adaptors to replicate the geometry of the original wheel.

The Model LC digital force indicator is a highly portable force measurement device. With its 9 V battery supply and compact size the indicator can easily be carried to remote locations to perform force measurement calibrations. The unit can measure compression forces up to 50,000 lbs.
The peak capture feature allows the highest force reading taken to be displayed with the push of a button. The remote location of the load sensor minimizes the chance of damage to the electronic body of the gauge. The stainless steel construction of the sensor and the indicator makes them often resistant to the occasional mishandling than can occur in the field. Optional handles are available for the load cell and gauge.
Each unit has a membrane face with raised buttons and tactile feedback for setup and operation. The high, low, and clear buttons are easily accessible on this front membrane. Zero adjustment and zero offset/tare functions are standard on each unit. Calibration and setup parameters are stored on a memory chip to protect from loss even when power is interrupted. Unauthorized set ups and calibrations are also blocked with internal security. Various combinations of the front panel buttons can be de-activated.

PC10PTFE, PTFE type silicon piezoresistive pressure sensor is the core component of pressure sensor and pressure transmitter as the high performance pressure sensitive element. It adopts integrated structure, high static pressure resistance, stable and reliable.
PC10PTFE sensor is a diffused silicon pressure sensitive chip encapsulated in a 316L stainless steel housing. The external pressure is transmitted to the sensitive chip through the stainless steel diaphragm coated with PTFE and the internally sealed silicone oil. The sensitive chip does not directly contact the measured medium, forming a fully solid-state structure for pressure measurement. Therefore, this product can be used in various occasions, including harsh corrosive media environments.
