Z6 Bending Beam Load Cell: The Market Standard for Precision and Durability in the 5 kg to 1 t Range

The highly precise Z6 bending beam load cell, first developed by HBM in 1972, has been continuously optimized for decades. Based on strain gauge technology, the Z6 is available in nine versions with maximum capacities ranging from 5 kg to 1 ton.

With its characteristic bellows design, this load cell has become a worldwide standard and has been sold in millions of units.

The Z6 is used in a wide range of weighing systems, including platform and conveyor scales, batching and level measurement, and tank weighing modules. The metal bellows protect the load cell from moisture ingress. It is optimized for parallel connection and is also available in an explosion-proof version certified to IECEx and ATEX standards.
