GSL301 Compression Tension S Type Load Cell

  1. S load cell are mainly used to measure tensile forces, but also are suitable for compressive force measurement.
  2. These S load cells are shaped like the letter S. The spring element is located in the centre beam of the load cell.
  3. They are particularly good for weighing heavy objects that are cumbersome to handle.
  4. S load cells require a safety chain when used in crane applications to avoid the risk of an overload failure that could cause a dropped load.
