Applications:

Linear Potentiometer Transducer is suitable for installation and use in occasions with small size and swing, and there is no special requirement for neutrality in installation. Installation Notes

1. The selection of the linear displacement sensor range requires a margin. It is recommended to select a slightly larger range on the basis of the actual stroke. When installing the sensor, it is advisable to leave the margin evenly at both ends, and then tighten the bracket screws after the position is adjusted.

2. The two ends of the KPM miniature articulated linear displacement sensor are articulated and fixed, and there is no special requirement for the neutrality of the installation.

3. The linear displacement sensor is connected to the circuit as a voltage divider, and the actual value of the measured position is displayed by relative voltage. 4. The power supply voltage of the sensor should be stable, and the industrial power supply requires ±0.1% stability, otherwise it will cause large fluctuations in the measurement data.

5. The power supply must have enough capacity. If the power supply capacity is too small, it is easy to cause the display data to jump. Especially when the solenoid valve driving power supply and the sensor power supply are together, the digital jumping is more likely to occur.

6. There can be no external interference, including electrostatic interference and high-frequency interference. Therefore, the sensor signal line should be routed in a separate slot with the equipment power line; the sensor installation should use a forced grounding bracket, and the sensor shell should be well grounded; the signal line should use a shielded wire, and the shielded wire should be grounded at one end of the electric box or connected to a DC power supply negative electrode.

7. The sensor should be wired correctly. If the wiring is wrong, there is a risk of serious damage to the sensor.

8. For sensors used for a long time, due to the intrusion of water, oil, dust, etc., the contact resistance of the brush is affected, which will cause the measurement data of the sensor to jump.
