The KPC articulated linear displacement sensor features an articulated mounting mechanism with fixed ends. Powered by 5V or 10V, it outputs 0-5V or 0-10V. Powered by 12V/24V, it can output 0-5V, 0-10V, 4-20mA, 0-20mA, and 1-20mA. RS485 and RS232 transmitter modules are required. It is suitable for position monitoring of large mechanical travel and back-and-forth motion, with no requirements for alignment. It is suitable for applications with no alignment requirements and motion, such as robots, unloaders, brick and shoe machines, ceramic machinery, geological hazards, sluice gates, 3D cinema seats, and entertainment equipment.


To meet underground utility corridor design requirements, expansion joints are installed at regular intervals. Monitoring their width is critical to prevent issues like water seepage. Surface crack meters can be mounted directly on joints to track long-term opening and closing, even in harsh environments. Their universal joints allow limited shear displacement, while built-in temperature sensors record ambient conditions. With optional accessories, they can also function as void meters or bi-/tri-directional crack meters to measure void volume, joint displacement, or perimeter movement.

Note: Built-in transmitter available. Powered by 24V, it outputs 0-5V, 0-10V, 4-20mA (2-wire or 3-wire optional), and RS485.
Built-in 0-5V, 0-10V, and 4-20mA 2-wire outputs increase the overall length by 25mm.
Built-in 4-20mA 3-wire outputs and RS485 increase the overall length by 50mm.
