The AA strain gauge is a strain gauge designed with for linear strain measurement. Its grid pattern is simple yet versatile and can be made to different lengths to best suit the application
The AB strain gauge is designed for Torsion and Shear applications. This type is in 1/4 Bridge configuration must be paired with other strain gauges for Shear and Torsional strain measurements.
The BB strain gauge is a strain gauge designed with two strain gauges. The two strain gauges are oriented 90 degrees apart (or in a TEE configuration) and are designed to work in tandem in Half-Bridge configuration. Multiple configurations are available to address different mounting configurations with three or four terminal outputs.
The CA strain gauge is a strain gauge designed with 3 linear strain gauges. Unlike BB strain gauges, CA strain gauges are oriented in 45° to help simplify installation in special applications.
The EB strain gauge is a special strain gauge that incorporates 4 individual strain gauges oriented 90° apart and configured in a full bridge configuration. The full bridge configuration means the strain gauges are pre-wired internally so no additional connections are required. Only 4 terminals are available: 2 for input and 2 for output making it easy to install. Wiring options are available to accommodate different applications.
